A Bedfull of Foreigners

Theatre Royal Wakefield is for everyone in the district. That’s why we are proud to present work from our local community, societies and groups. We work with over 20 local amateur groups who offer performance opportunities for all in a diverse range of genres such as musicals, plays and dance shows. Book these shows to see local talent on stage, or if you fancy treading the boards yourself, get in touch with one of the societies using the details provided.

Wakefield Little Theatre is delighted to present A Bedfull of Foreigners - a hilarious farcical comedy by Dave Freeman. First presented in 1973, it ran for over 600 performances in the West End.

Intent on spending a quiet holiday in France, Stanley Parker and his wife Brenda find themselves sharing a hotel bedroom with a British business man...his German wife...and his French mistress!

Adding to the confusion is a hotel porter (who may or may not have been born in Lapland and subsequently joined the Foreign Legion) and a lustful German hotel manager dressed in Renaissance costume.

Recommended age 14+
