Rob Burrow, a name synonymous with greatness. A Leeds Rhinos rugby player with the toughest exterior and the warmest of hearts. Rob became our hero in 2019 when he was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. In the face of the most terrible illness, this powerhouse of a man showed the world how to live a full life with an infectious smile and an unforgettable sense of humour, whilst battling the cruellest of illnesses.

Since then, dancers from Yorkshire Elite Associates have had Rob at the centre of everything they do. Forging the strongest of friendships and showing true grit and spirit when the going gets tough. They’ve enjoyed performances at Headingley Stadium and Blackpool Tower Ballroom to help raise awareness for MND. This cabaret is in honour and in aid of the Rob Burrow Centre for MND, the first of its kind, based at Seacroft Hospital Leeds.
