News Story
When you book for shows at Theatre Royal Wakefield you will now receive an e-ticket directly to your inbox. You can either print the ticket off, or you can display it on a smartphone screen or other device.
On arrival your ticket will be scanned by a member of the front of house team who will then direct you to your seats. This new contactless way of obtaining your tickets and entering the venue will help us to keep everyone safe when we re-open.
This means no more queues to collect your tickets and our front of house team will be able to get everyone seated in the auditorium much faster. It also means that you won't forget your tickets, if you have your phone with you! Handy eh?
No email or smartphone? Don't worry, we can still print tickets for those people who can't access an e-ticket and would prefer to collect them from our box office on the day of the show and there's no charge for this service.
Got tickets for a rescheduled show? Hang tight, if we've already got your email address, we'll be sending your new e-tickets to your inbox in due course. If not, we'll be in touch. There's no need to call us.
And, just in case you are wondering, we absolutely have not been playing socially distanced cowboys with the new ticket scanners...... nope..... not at all.
