We were thrilled to welcome our first audiences back in to the building in over 16 months for In on the Act's House Lights Up. This promenade performance took the audience on a journey through the Theatre, meeting several characters along the way. Our talented company, researched, wrote and then performed the stories of how our theatre and the whole industry has been impacted by the pandemic.

In on the Act, our young adult (18-30) training company, is recruiting theatre makers to train and perform with us at Theatre Royal Wakefield. We have free introductory sessions on either 8 or 15 September and the group meets regularly on Wednesday evenings. In on the Act will present a new adaptation of The Red Shoes in July 2022 at Theatre Royal Wakefield. Find out more here.
