Theatre Royal Wakefield are pleased to announce HSBC UK as the new sponsor for our annual Gala Dinner and Performance on Friday 20 May 2022. This event is the jewel in the crown of our fundraising. All of the money raised supports our work with the community, spreading the joy of performance across the Wakefield District.

Starting in the beautiful Wakefield Cathedral for a champagne reception and black tie dinner, we then move to our beautiful Victorian theatre for the annual Gala Performance. The performance welcomes an exciting array of talent to the stage, including celebrating our amazing Performance Academy students. This year’s performance will be hosted by Heart Yorkshire’s Dixie, co-host of the popular drive time show!
The Gala Dinner and Performance is on Friday 20 May 2022 and will begin at Wakefield Cathedral at 5.45pm.
