Last week we were delighted to welcome a group from Wakefield District Sight Aid to a performance of Cinderella! We worked alongside Sight Aid to make it possible for a group of young people with sight loss to attend the theatre with their families.
We had a total of 46 young people and family members attend and were able to secure them front row seats. This was incredibly special as for many this was their first time attending a pantomime!
We are very keen to offer as many opportunities as possible to make our pantomime accessible for the local community, allowing as many people as we can to access some festive magic this Christmas time.
This week, with support from our friends over at Specsavers Wakefield, we're hosting two relaxed performances of Cinderella which offer an informal performance atmosphere for people with an autistic spectrum condition, learning disability, sensory or communication disorder, or anyone who may find a normal theatre environment overwhelming.

We're very excited to be hosting two BSL signed performances of Cinderella next week.
