We are super excited to announce that Meg Elsegood is running the Sheffield Half Marathon on Sunday 26 March to raise money for the Theatre! You might recognise Meg as Alice Fitzwarren in last year’s pantomime, Dick Whittington, or Belle in Beauty and the Beast in 2021.
We are extremely grateful that Meg has chosen to take on this huge challenge to raise money for Theatre Royal Wakefield!
Not only has Meg taken to the stage in the pantomime, she trained at our Performance Academy and performed in the young chorus before training at D&B college and launching a professional career!
As a charity, we rely on generous donations and amazing supporters like Meg raising vital funds for the Theatre.
This is Meg’s first challenge of this kind and we’re sure you’ll join us in showing your support by sharing Meg’s Crowdfunder on social media or sponsoring her half marathon!
