Yesterday evening we hosted our very first Onstage Dinner Experience!

Guests were treated to an evening of role reversals. Rather than being directed to their seats in the auditorium, attendees were invited onto the stage to gaze out into the auditorium. The lights in the auditorium were dimmed and backstage areas, normally hidden from the public, were spotlighted for all to view. Attendees got to see all three levels of our magnificent Victorian auditorium from a completely new angle and witnessed a glimpse of what it's like being on our working theatre stage.

A delicious three course dinner was served, interspersed with rousing performances given from the Dress Circle by our talented young performers, Esmae and Bella (both from our Performance Academy Pontefract training group).

The evening was a lovely reminder of not just the rich history and beauty of our building, but also the inspiring training opportunities that the theatre space is the home of.
