News Story
Last week we hosted Technical Tours of our Theatre space. This was an exciting opportunity for individuals to journey behind-the-scenes of our Theatre and hear from our technical team about what goes into bringing productions to life on our stage. Attendees were guided around our backstage areas, venturing from our orchestra pit and under stage area all the way up to our fly floor at the top of our building. Tour attendees were also invited onto the stage and treated to a live demonstration from our technical team on the different lighting and sound effects we can utilise.
Thank you to all that attended the tours. We raised over £300 in ticket sales which will go towards supporting our vital work with the community as well as ensuring we can continue to stage exciting productions on our stage. We hoped you enjoyed your tour and a glimpse into the day-to-day lives of our amazing backstage technicians.
If you enjoyed learning about the technical side of our Theatre and want to find out more about the history of our building, we are hosting Heritage Open Day Tours in September which you can read about below.
