Recently, we ran a competition to see who could create a joke spectacular enough to knock our pantomime's dame's socks off and be performed in this year's pantomime, Beauty and the Beast.

The competition was hugely popular, gathering over 70 entries, with jokes ranging from the traditional 'knock-knock' variety to some more tongue-in-cheek risqué fair.

After careful deliberation, a winner was chosen!

The winning joke was submitted by Shannon Webster and her joke will be heard live on stage in all of our family show performances. Congratulations Shannon!

However, the jokes didn't stop there! Another joke was loved so much that it simply had to be chosen as a worthy runner-up, to be performed during our school group performances. This joke was submitted by Jackie Parker, on behalf of her grand-daughter, Mia Johnson.
