We are thrilled to congratulate Isaac on this fantastic achievement. Isaac will play the leading role of Charlie in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in Leeds this winter.
Isaac is one of our Wakefield Performance Academy participants – you might have seen him in their showcase at the Theatre in June, Sing! Dance! Act!.
I have been a member of Theatre Royal Performance Academy since I was 5 years old, starting out in Performance Academy Kidz. I absolutely love it, and I have learned so much from the practitioners. Not just about performance, but the discipline and hard work it takes to put together a show.Isaac
Performance Academy is our weekend performing arts training programme for young people aged 5-18. Participants come together every week to receive training in singing, dancing and acting from a team of experienced tutors. They gain experience rehearsing and performing on a professional stage and learn techniques for auditioning and entering the industry.

I have been fortunate enough to have auditioned for professional shows since the age of 8, and if it wasn't for Performance Academy, I would never have gotten the parts. My recent role as Charlie Bucket in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at the Leeds Playhouse involved a very lengthy audition process that required determination and commitment; things I would not have had if I hadn't trained at Performance Academy.Isaac
