Last week we welcomed to the stage two performances of Sing! Dance! Act!, our showcase productions for our Performance Academy Wakefield groups. Over 100 young people aged 5 to 18 performed across the two nights in a mix of musical theatre medleys, large-scale dance numbers and hilarious devised drama sketches.

Both evenings provided our young performers-in-training the chance to gain experience working on a professional theatre stage. It also gave friends and family the chance to witness and celebrate the incredible talent of all those onstage and the professional quality of the work they had produced this term.

The performance was a joy to watch and a huge testament to the hard work of all of our young performers, as well as our Performance Academy tutors and Participation Team who work so hard to enable these inspiring training opportunities to happen.
