Last week we welcomed Sing! Dance! Act! to the stage, our showcase performance for Performance Academy (Pontefract) and Chime participants.

Our Performance Academy young performers treated us to musical medleys from Come From Away,Newsies and the Spongebob Squarepants Musical, exhilarating group dance routines and comedic devised drama pieces. The evening was an amazing chance for the young people to demonstrate how much they've learned over the last year and how truly talented they are at singing, dancing and acting!

Our February showcase is always incredibly special as it's a chance for our Chime participants to also take to the stage. Chime opened the show with a rendition of a song from the Descendants film franchise, followed by an upbeat mash-up of pop songs. Act One was rounded off perfectly with a performance of The Wall in my Head from Everybody's Talking About Jamie, which saw Chime and Performance Academy come together onstage for the finale number.

It was an amazing chance to celebrate the hard work of our young performers, but also see their confidence grow as they performed for a lively audience on our professional stage.
