As the performing arts sector faces unprecedented challenges, Theatre Royal Wakefield are looking to develop our Board so it can support and inspire the staff and increase our social impact and resilience. We are keen to meet dynamic and passionate individuals who share our belief that the arts can inspire and enrich people’s lives.

Being a trustee is a voluntary role which is essential to effective running of any charity. We are committed to ensuring that our governance structures are inclusive and represent the communities we serve.

At this challenging time we are looking for new Board members to join us who can:

• Challenge and move forward strategy
• Support the leadership to form decisive and resilient plans
  

We are also very keen to hear from individuals who do not meet these specific criteria but believe they could contribute to our thinking and our future success and resilience.
